About The Position

Clow Valve's Metal Casting Facility has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Brass Shipping Forklift. This role is responsible for transferring loads of materials and finished goods throughout the brass department. The hours for this position are 6pm-4:30am. The starting wage is $27.57, with a qualified wage of $28.21. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after a 120-day probationary period is complete. Health insurance is available after 60 days.

Requirements

Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand up to 2 hours per day.
Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.
Cross train on other positions as needed
