About The Position

The Brand Strategist plays a critical role within the Creative Services team by owning client brand immersion, research synthesis, narrative strategy, storytelling, messaging architecture, creative territories, and experience vision for priority presale opportunities. This role translates business challenges, audience understanding, and brand context into a clear client truth that anchors the pitch and helps ITA Group develop more differentiated event solutions. Working in close partnership with Account Executives, Event Strategy Advisors, Creative Strategy Advisors, creative teams, and operations SMEs, the Brand Strategist leads the narrative and storytelling lane while partnering on experience vision. The role supports high-priority, strategic, competitive, or revenue-significant pursuits where stronger storytelling and pitch differentiation can help ITA Group win more business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Strategy, Business, Experience Design, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years in strategic, creative strategy, or experience design roles within an agency or event-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting new business, proposals, and pitch environments.
  • Ability to connect business objectives → insight → idea → experience → outcome
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ideation capability
  • Experience framing differentiated positioning in competitive situations
  • Exceptional storytelling skills across written, verbal, and visual formats
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and translate them into presentation-ready content
  • Strong executive presence and presentation ability
  • Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead discovery workshops, client interviews, internal strategy sessions, and alignment meetings.
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and build strong partnerships through a collaborative, low-ego working style.
  • Advanced ability to develop presentation-ready content in tools such as PowerPoint or Keynote, with a focus on clear story flow, executive-level messaging, and client-facing polish.
  • Comfort using AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, synthesize inputs, generate narrative options, and strengthen pitch storytelling.
  • Familiarity with collaboration and workflow tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Workfront, or similar platforms to support pursuit development and cross-functional alignment.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and managing multiple pursuits and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong balance of creativity, strategy, and practicality.
  • Ability to share a portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, storytelling, and concept development.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client workshops and presentations.
