Freelance Brand Strategist, Pharma RFPs (As Needed)
About The Position
mindbodygreen is seeking a freelance Brand Strategist with expertise in pharmaceuticals to partner with their Director of Brand Strategy and sales team on pharma and health Request for Proposals (RFPs). This role involves unpacking briefs, building strategic narratives, developing audience and condition-category insights, shaping branded content and media ideas, and assisting in writing and structuring final proposal decks. The work can range from quick turnarounds on specific sections to full RFP responses. Recent projects have covered women's health, dermatology, cardiovascular, and mental health.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Experience in pharma or health marketing (agency, publisher, or brand side).
- Understanding of DTC and ideally HCP audiences.
- Knowledge of MLR review and fair balance.
- Ability to create fresh ideas within regulatory guardrails.
- Clear writing skills.
- Ability to think in stories.
- Comfortable building decks in Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Ability to turn work around within a few days.
- Available during ET business hours when a project is live.
