Brand Storyteller

Tulip InterfacesSomerville, MA
Hybrid

About The Position

Tulip is a company that brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing, aiming to digitize an industry that accounts for almost 20% of the global economy. They have developed AI-native software to assist frontline manufacturing workers. Tulip became an AI unicorn in January 2026 with a $1.3B valuation and is experiencing double-digit revenue growth year over year. Their software is used by leading manufacturers globally to improve efficiency. Headquartered in Somerville, MA, with international offices, Tulip has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and a "Best Place to Work" by Built In Boston. The company culture is described as AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership, seeking individuals who are energized by complex problems and global impact. This role is a senior individual contributor position focused on owning the content that drives market success for Tulip. The Brand Storyteller will be responsible for the editorial strategy, pipeline-generating programs, sales enablement content, and connecting content efforts to commercial outcomes. The position aims to tell the story of Tulip's impact on transforming manufacturing with software, particularly highlighting the current significant software evolution in the factory floor.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of B2B SaaS or technical content marketing experience, with a portfolio spanning thought leadership, campaign content, and full-funnel programs
  • Track record of owning a content program end to end and connecting it to pipeline and revenue outcomes
  • Strong editorial instincts and writing craft: you can write for a VP of Operations and a SDR in the same week
  • Experience partnering with Product Marketing and Demand Gen to translate positioning into content that performs in the sales motion
  • Demonstrated use of AI to materially change content output or economics, not just personal productivity

Responsibilities

  • Own Tulip’s content strategy: editorial calendar, formats, distribution approach, and the performance framework that connects content to pipeline
  • Create high-quality content across formats (thought leadership, customer stories, campaign assets, social, and sales enablement) and manage agency and freelance contributors for scale
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate vertical positioning and launch narratives into content that lands with buyers
  • Work with Demand Generation to develop campaign content that drives net-new pipeline, and measure contribution to sourced and influenced revenue
  • Build sales enablement content that reps actually use: specific enough to be useful, sharp enough to change how they tell the story
  • Own content for Tulip’s flagship moments: Hannover Messe, Operations Calling, customer events, and major product launches
  • Build AI-assisted editorial workflows that raise team throughput without lowering the quality bar: research pipelines, drafting systems, repurposing frameworks, distribution automation
  • Set the standard for how AI gets used in content work at Tulip. Evaluate what’s worth adopting, build repeatable processes, and be specific about where human judgment is irreplaceable
  • Track content performance and use data to improve: what formats earn attention, what converts, what Sales uses, and where the gaps are
