About The Position

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) drives revenue and provides guests with exceptional service through relationship building, sharing product knowledge, and maintaining a clean, well-kept store environment. The role consistently achieves individual sales goals that support store goals and reports to Store Leadership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be physically able to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
May need to climb ladders occasionally and climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location.
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

Anticipate guests’ needs, exceed expectations, and follow Altar’d State service standards.
Acknowledge, interact with, and build relationships with guests to create guest loyalty.
Communicate effectively with store management and guests.
Act as a positive role model for fellow sales associates and support an environment of learning and trust.
Complete opening and closing procedures and sales associate tasks as directed by management, with a guest focus.
Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently; process transactions accurately and handle cash and provide change without error.
Follow loss-prevention practices, report potential incidents, and help protect company assets and control shortages.
Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
Report to work as scheduled, accurately record time worked using the company’s time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
Assist with constructing merchandising and window displays.
Maintain a clean, presentable store environment.
Represent the brand by following appropriate dress and grooming standards.
