About The Position

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) reports to Store Leadership and drives revenue while providing guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge, and maintaining a clean, well-kept store. The role consistently achieves individual sales goals that support store goals. The position is seasonal and located at St Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
• May occasionally need to climb ladders and frequently climb and descend stairs, depending on location.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and following Altar’d State service standards.
• Acknowledge and interact with guests, build relationships, and create guest loyalty.
• Communicate effectively with store management and guests.
• Treat others fairly and respectfully, value differences, and avoid passing judgment on potential guests.
• Support a learning and trusting environment by serving as a positive role model for fellow sales associates.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and other sales associate tasks as directed by management, with a focus on guests.
• Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
• Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently; process transactions accurately and handle cash and provide change without error.
• Follow loss-prevention practices and report potential incidents to support shortage control and protect company assets.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
• Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
• Report to work as scheduled, accurately record time worked using the company time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
• Assist with constructing merchandising and window displays.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
• Represent the brand by following dress and grooming standards.
