About The Position

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) reports to Store Leadership and drives revenue by providing guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-kept store environment. The role consistently achieves individual sales goals that support store goals. Altar’d State is a women’s fashion brand with more than 130 locations in 40 states. Its mission, “Stand Out. For Good,” includes charitable giving through Mission Mondays and a partnership with Coprodeli USA to build schools in Peru. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be physically able to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
May occasionally be required to climb ladders and frequently climb and descend stairs, depending on location.
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

Anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and follow Altar’d State service standards.
Acknowledge and interact with guests, build relationships, and create guest loyalty.
Communicate effectively with store management and guests.
Treat others fairly and respectfully, value differences, and avoid judging potential guests.
Act as a positive role model and support a learning and trusting environment for fellow sales associates.
Complete opening and closing procedures and other sales associate tasks as directed by management, with a guest-focused approach.
Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently; process transactions accurately and handle cash and provide change without error.
Follow loss prevention practices, report potential incidents, and help control shortages and protect company assets.
Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
Report to work as scheduled, accurately record time worked using the company’s time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
Assist in constructing merchandising and window displays.
Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
Represent the brand by meeting appropriate dress and grooming standards.
