About The Position

Kraken is looking for a Brand Partnerships Manager to join the Marketing team. This role will manage relationships with global brand partners, focusing on strategy development, activation, campaigns, and experiences. The Brand Partnerships Manager will collaborate with various internal teams, including Marketing (Brand, Social, Events, Growth, Creative), Managed Accounts, and Product, to execute partnership activations and measure their impact. This position is crucial for Kraken's long-term brand growth and product suite development. The ideal candidate is culturally aware across various verticals (music, sports, fashion, art, crypto), creative, organized, a strong communicator, and capable of producing engaging content under tight deadlines. They should be a self-starter experienced in fast-paced environments, comfortable switching between strategy, planning, and execution, and adept at building and strengthening relationships to advance Kraken's mission through creative brand partnerships. The role also involves supporting IRL activation logistics with the Brand Partnerships team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of brand partnerships management, strategy, planning, and execution experience, preferably including experience within the digital assets industry or financial services.
  • Strong time management, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, flexibility, and professional confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently work on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working and leading cross-functionally and communicating to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and high-growth environment, with the ability to pivot to market needs.
  • Experience across verticals including creator, gaming, sports, art, music, and/or fashion partnerships.
  • Ability to learn and manage a number of different organizational tools.
  • Enjoy and excel at working cross-functionally to deliver results through partnerships.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with product and business leaders, internally and externally.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the Crypto industry.
  • Great strategic instincts, and can exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to travel 20%+ of the time, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute brand partnerships that support Kraken's Mission and drive brand awareness and product adoption.
  • Lead day-to-day partnership management for key brand partnerships, such as Atlassian Williams F1.
  • Support cross-functional partnership initiatives while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Assist in evaluating potential opportunities, ideating and executing initiatives with current partners, framing and assessing value and impact, event budgeting, and implementation/optimization.
  • Connect Kraken business priorities, brand marketing, objectives, and key messages across brand partnerships.
  • Coordinate and support pre-activation promotion, on-the-day activities, and post-activation follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on event execution logistics, content/asset development, and event communication.
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of partnership efforts through data collection and reporting.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
