About The Position

This is a co-op student position for Brand Marketing, focusing on Control Brands. The term is for 4 months, starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 18, 2026. The role involves developing an understanding of key marketing principles while working alongside major Canadian brands like President’s Choice, no name, and Life Brand. The co-op student will operate in the capacity of a Marketing Coordinator and collaborate cross-functionally with various retail brands under Loblaw Companies Limited. Loblaw has adopted a hybrid working model, allowing up to 1 day of remote work per week, with the remaining 4 days in the office.

Requirements

  • Are enrolled in a business/commerce or marketing post-secondary program that requires the competition of a co-op work term.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated passion for retail and brand marketing.
  • Are brand-obsessed and food-lovers.
  • Are passionate about marketing and brands.
  • Are organized and able to move quickly within a fast-paced environment.
  • Are collaborative team players with strong communication skills, both written and in person.
  • Are proactive, self-starters.
  • Are solution-oriented, and apply that approach to problem solving.
  • Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities
