About The Position

Skillz, the first publicly-traded mobile eSports platform that hosts billions of casual mobile gaming tournaments for millions of players worldwide, is revolutionizing the gaming industry. By fostering social competition within games, the Skillz platform helps developers build multi-million dollar franchises by enabling real-money activity in their games and providing operational support while connecting players through fair, enjoyable, and meaningful competition. We are offering a Co-Op program for current graduate and undergraduate students who are set to graduate within one year of starting the program. The program is scheduled to begin in June 2026 and will run through December 2026. Please note that this position requires relocation to Las Vegas for the duration of the program. The role will be in-office, 5 days a week, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Flexibility will be provided to accommodate any school courses during the program.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field [gpa 3.5+ preferred]
  • Strong interest in gaming, esports, or mobile apps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends
  • Basic understanding of branding and storytelling principles
  • Project Coordination – Manages multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders effectively
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works well with product, design, growth, and partnerships teams
  • Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy and brand consistency in all deliverables
  • Social & Digital Awareness – Familiar with trends across TikTok, Instagram, mobile gaming ecosystems
  • Content Development – Supports creation of social posts, briefs, and campaign assets
  • Channel Understanding – Basic grasp of paid, owned, and earned media

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing brand campaigns across digital, social, and in-app channels
  • Support the development of brand assets, messaging, and creative briefs
  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends in gaming and consumer brands
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support campaign launches
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights/recommendations
