About The Position

The Brand Manager is a vital leader in shaping the strategy, positioning, and success of assigned brands. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business goals to grow revenue, profitability, and market share. The Brand Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to bring products to market, create impactful consumer and trade marketing programs, and optimize brand performance across various channels.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MBA) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management or related roles in the CPG or food and beverage industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in tools like Nielsen, IRI, or SPINS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Define Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a long-term vision and roadmap for the brand, aligning it with PANOS’ overall business objectives.
  • Portfolio Management: Make decisions about the brand portfolio (e.g., expanding, consolidating, or retiring products).
  • Competitive Positioning: Assess and refine the brand's market positioning relative to competitors to ensure sustained growth and differentiation.
  • P&L Ownership: Maintain accountability for the brand’s profit and loss (P&L), balancing revenue growth with cost control.
  • Budget Management: Allocate marketing budgets and partner with Sales to ensure effective use of trade spending to maximize ROI.
  • Pricing Strategy: Lead pricing decisions, considering market dynamics, costs, and consumer willingness to pay.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) to analyze sales trends, market share, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Demand Planning: Partner with Operations team to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies across business processes impacting the brand.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with PANOS Sales team and broker partners to align on brand objectives, distribution priorities, and promotional strategies.
  • Drive Distribution: Guide Sales team on brand assortment priorities and customer targets to deliver expansion goals.
  • Build Effective Selling Stories: Utilize key brand messaging, consumer insights, and market data to build effective selling stories to secure buy-in for new distribution or offerings.
  • Trade Promotion Effectiveness: Evaluate trade promotions, adjust strategies based on data, and ensure effective return on trade investment.
  • Concept Development: Identify consumer needs, analyze market trends, and collaborate with R&D to create products that align with brand strategy.
  • Product Development: Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage consumer insights and market data to refine products and maintain high standards in design, functionality, and appeal.
  • Integrated Marketing Planning: Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns that support broader business goals.
  • Consumer Marketing Activation: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and social media; collaborate with external creators to ensure content resonates with target audiences.
  • Shopper Marketing Activation: Develop shopper marketing programs to drive awareness and trial at key customers.
