About The Position

This role represents the Starbucks brand in its base business, including packaging, line extensions, and marketing in partnership with Nestlé. The Brand Manager II will ensure that products, packaging, and marketing elevate the brand and meet operating plans to achieve financial and business objectives. This position involves leading a team, analyzing CPG and consumer data, managing packaging changes, guiding line extensions, and ensuring out-of-store marketing achieves KPIs. The role also requires challenging category-level thinking, developing interpersonal skills for strong partnerships, guiding team development, and managing budgets effectively.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in brand management and marketing, 6-10 years
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment, 6-10 years
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products or strategies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadline

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3-4 to oversee business strategy and execution in partnership with Nestlé
  • Analyze CPG and consumer data to advise on and develop strategies to meet our current and future goals
  • Manage packaging changes and updates to encourage a cohesive global brand perspective
  • Guide and manage in-platform line extensions and limited time SKUs
  • Ensure out-of-store marketing elevates the brand and achieves in market KPIs
  • Challenge category-level thinking and strategies to influence future plans within and outside of Nestlé
  • Develop interpersonal skills that facilitate a strong relationship with internal and external partners
  • Guide the development and career progression of your team, with deep integration of Starbucks mission and values
  • Tightly manage your team’s budget, prioritizing various business needs and ROI on these expenditures
