About The Position

Groupe Marcelle, a leader in the cosmetics industry, is seeking a Brand Manager – Go-To-Market for the Watier brand. This full-time, permanent position involves implementing integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, accelerate consumer adoption, and support business growth. The role includes developing promotional strategies, in-store displays, sales tools, and executing product launches. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in marketing, business, or related
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing / commercial marketing, ideally in cosmetics industry or another related field withing the consumer goods sector (CPG)
  • Experience with market data analysis (e.g., Nielsen) and sales analytics tools
  • Ability to interpret financial data (P&L, price analysis, etc.)
  • Possesses a solid understanding of the Canadian cosmetics and skincare industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and implementation of the marketing strategy for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives
  • Develop a robust promotional plan (seasonal gift sets, bonus formats, etc.) that will enable the brand to achieve sustained and profitable growth
  • Work with cross-functional teams on promotional products, considering market trends and consumer needs
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, provide the best 360 plans to support promotional and launch executions, including displays and point-of-sale materials
  • Ensure strict brand consistency across all packaging, content, merchandising, and communications
  • Work on seasonal merchandising updates (visuals, duratrans, permanent displays, etc.)
  • Create training materials for the sales team
  • Develop and present sales programs, launch plans, and promotional strategies to internal teams
  • Manage the budget and P&L for programs
  • Closely monitor the competition, analyze the market, and track trends to identify opportunities and ensure the brand’s continued growth
  • Work closely with the sales, purchasing, logistics, marketing, merchandising, and finance departments to develop and execute marketing plans within the prescribed timeframes and budgets
