This internship offers a unique opportunity for an individual interested in communications, creative services, event planning, coordination, and logistics to gain hands-on experience supporting high-impact events across the College System of Tennessee. The Brand Experience and Events Intern will help create meaningful, well-executed brand experiences that advance the System’s mission and strengthen community engagement. Rather than simply supporting a table or presence at an event, this role will help ensure each activation is thoughtfully planned, consistently branded, appropriately staffed, and executed in a way that reflects the quality and impact of the College System. The intern will provide independent coordination and on-site support for events such as SkillsUSA, TSSAA Championships, TBR Day on the Hill, and SOAR, while assisting with other projects and activations throughout the year. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics; supporting staffing plans, setup, space allocation, equipment, audiovisual needs, scheduling, and internal promotion; and helping maintain clear communication among internal teams, campus partners, and external stakeholders. The role will also help ensure event spaces, materials, and participant experiences are cohesive, welcoming, and aligned with TBR’s brand. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a paid, hybrid internship that includes work at TBR offices, remote work, and assignments at other locations. Because these events require significant planning and coordination, schedules may change with limited notice, and event days may require additional hours.
