About The Position

The Brand Engagement Coordinator drives brand awareness, resident engagement, and lead generation through outreach, social media, partnerships, and community involvement. This role serves as a key connection between our communities, local organizations, large employers, campus groups, residents, and prospective residents while supporting both digital and in-person marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, outgoing, organized, social media savvy, and passionate about building authentic community connections.

Requirements

  • Experience with social media management and content creation, including TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and representing the company at events.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • Established following on social media or experience as an influencer is a plus.
  • Experience with Canva, social media scheduling platforms, or content creation tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of student housing or multifamily housing a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and lead outreach initiatives.
  • Serve as the lead representative at major outreach and community events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus organizations, student groups, university departments, chambers of commerce, local employers, and community partners.
  • Recruit and manage community ambassadors, influencers, and partnership opportunities.
  • Support outreach efforts for housing communities.
  • Recruit and onboard new DTN Perks vendors and maintain ongoing vendor relationships.
  • Support and expand the DTN Perks program through relationship management and promotion.
  • Manage and grow assigned social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and community-focused channels.
  • Create engaging on-site and community-based social media content.
  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to develop monthly content and event calendars.
  • Capture photo and video content during resident events and outreach activities.
  • Assist with social storytelling initiatives that highlight community culture and resident experiences.
  • Coordinate scheduled vendor and partnership-related social posts.
  • Participate in resident events to strengthen community engagement and increase content opportunities.
  • Help execute campaigns designed to increase brand visibility and resident interaction.
  • Promote DTN programs and partnerships through creative engagement strategies.
  • Manage monthly Captivate content updates and scheduling.
  • Perform audits of on-site social media and content creation efforts to ensure brand consistency and quality standards.
  • Track outreach initiatives, engagement efforts, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and on-site teams to align messaging and promotional efforts.
