Brand Designer

Afresh
$110,500 - $149,500Remote

About The Position

We're looking for a Brand Designer to join Marketing as our dedicated, in-house owner of Afresh's visual brand. This is a newly created, full-time role: you'll be embedded in our day-to-day workstreams, carrying context across projects rather than parachuting in for one-off requests. You'll partner closely with marketing leadership and content strategists, who bring strategy and messaging — while you own format and visual execution, taking ideas from concept to final, production-ready work across web, video, sales enablement, campaigns, and events.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of brand or graphic design experience, ideally spanning both agency and in-house work, with a track record of owning a brand end-to-end.
  • A strong portfolio across multiple formats: web design, video/motion or case studies, presentation and sales decks, and print or event collateral.
  • Experience building and scaling brand or design systems that keep a growing, fast-moving team consistent.
  • Familiarity with AI design and creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, generative design features in Figma or Adobe) and a strong point of view on using them without producing generic, obviously-AI output.
  • Excellent communication and time management; able to balance urgent 24–48 hour turnarounds alongside longer-term projects.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Framer, Google; video editing experience is a plus.
  • B2B tech or SaaS marketing experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of Afresh's visual brand across web design, video and case studies, sales enablement (decks, one-pagers), campaign creative, and event/booth design.
  • Partner with marketing leadership and content strategists to translate strategy and messaging into polished visual work — owning format and visual communication so the broader team can focus on story and substance.
  • Lead design end-to-end on major initiatives (website updates, product launches, campaigns, videos), from concept through final, production-ready files.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system and templates — decks, one-pagers, social, event graphics — so the wider team can stay on-brand between dedicated design projects.
  • Set the standard for how the rest of the company uses AI-assisted design and creative tools, so AI-generated output looks and feels like Afresh rather than generic AI output.
  • Turn around time-sensitive requests (24–48 hours) for sales, events, and leadership without sacrificing quality or brand consistency.
  • Bring a point of view and original concepts to the table — shaping the creative brief, not just executing it.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities independently, with minimal day-to-day oversight.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for events, including, but not limited to, booth design, materials, and scheduling.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family, with the majority of premiums covered by Afresh.
  • Dedicated mental health support and counseling services.
  • Competitive base salary, meaningful equity (U.S. employees), and a 401(k) program with a generous company match.
  • Home office stipend and "Coworking Wallets" for flexible workspace access.
  • Annual professional development budget.
  • Monthly stipends for "Betterment" (wellness/lifestyle) and telecommunications.
  • Flexible paid time off.
