About The Position

As a member of Aaru’s Design team, the Brand Designer helps users make decisions faster. The Design team owns every surface a customer, prospect, or candidate touches. Working with the Head of Marketing and Head of Design, the Brand Designer will build the brand for the market and bring it to life across the product, the web, and other places Aaru appears. This role is based in New York City and requires working in the office five days per week. Candidates should live in the New York City metropolitan area or be open to relocation.

Has released their own products or previously led product design.

Responsibilities

Design and ship brand work daily across web, social, decks, and print.
Build a brand system that scales across new surfaces without becoming stale.
Lead launches and campaigns end to end with the Head of Marketing.
Partner with Product Designers and Design Engineers to carry the brand into the product.
Enable anyone at Aaru to produce on-brand work without design involvement.
Help select and manage external agencies when needed.
