Brand & Content Manager

FinStrat Management

About The Position

FinStrat is seeking a hands-on Brand & Content Manager to shape and distribute the company’s story to founders, investors, family offices, and partners. The role turns leadership and subject-matter expertise into clear, credible content and keeps it current across the website, social channels, and partner networks. It is primarily a writing and editorial role, with a strong preference for candidates who can also provide practical design support and manage contractors. The manager will own important work from the first weeks, including project-managing the final stages of a brand identity and positioning renewal and coordinating the production of client-facing and internal brand assets. The role will lead the content workstream for a new website targeted for Q1 2027, including messaging, page copy, content migration, and retirement of outdated material. The position offers an early-career stretch opportunity with direct mentorship from the VP of Brand & Partnerships, visibility with the CEO, and support from design and development partners, contractors, and leadership. In the first 90 days, success includes securing final leadership approval for the brand renewal, establishing a working content and social calendar, creating a single source of truth for approved copy and assets, and developing a website content plan. By six months, the new website is expected to be live, refreshed positioning should be consistent across key channels, and engagement data and team feedback should inform future content.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing or content, or founder-facing experience as a VC associate, accelerator or program manager, or startup marketing operator.
  • Strong writing and editorial judgment, with examples of making complex ideas clear for a specific audience.
  • Track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders and taking projects from concept through publication.
  • A real understanding of founders, investors, family offices, and the conversations that connect them.
  • Comfort using AI tools to research, draft, and repurpose content, together with the judgment to make the final product sound human and accurate.
  • Growth mindset and interest in taking on a role with room to develop and build a career.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on design support, such as improving presentation layouts, preparing production files, or working in Figma or Canva.
  • Experience managing freelance or contract creative talent.
  • Experience running a B2B social media calendar, especially on LinkedIn.
  • Experience contributing to a website launch or rebrand.
  • An eye for typography, hierarchy, and details that improve finished work.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the content workstream for the Q1 2027 website launch, including site messaging, page copy, and migration or retirement of existing content, in partnership with designers, developers, and leadership.
  • Help develop and roll out FinStrat’s updated brand positioning and maintain consistent voice and messaging across channels.
  • Write and edit decks, one-pagers, website copy, case studies, thought leadership, email, and program communications.
  • Own the social media content calendar, including planning, writing, and producing posts and associated graphics, videos, and other assets.
  • Manage assets end to end: briefing, drafting, expert review, design, approval, publication, and ongoing updates.
  • Build and run a broader distribution calendar, adapting content for the website, email, social, events, partner channels, and sales outreach.
  • Partner with sales and client-facing teams to identify content gaps and create materials that answer prospect questions.
  • Make content easy to find and cite in traditional search and AI-powered answer tools.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for approved copy and assets, including owners, versions, and review dates, and retire outdated materials.
  • Brief designers and contractors, provide clear creative feedback, and refine layouts when needed.
  • Track performance through engagement data and team feedback and use findings to shape future content.
  • Project-manage the final stages of the brand identity and positioning renewal through leadership review and approval.
  • Manage production of client-facing and internal brand assets.
