As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who can help shape and scale how our brand shows up in the world — someone who doesn’t just generate ideas, but brings them to life. We’re looking for a Brand Communications leader who is equal parts creative storyteller and doer. This role will help bring the Salt & Straw brand to life across channels — developing ideas, shaping content, and ensuring our storytelling shows up in meaningful, engaging ways. You’ll partner closely across Marketing to translate strategy into compelling brand moments that connect with our communities. This is a role for someone who doesn’t just think about ideas, but builds them — someone who is energized by creating, testing, and bringing concepts to life. This position may be filled at either the Senior Manager or Director level, depending on experience and scope.

Requirements

  • An idea generator and creative storyteller with strong instincts for brand, culture, and content
  • A true doer — someone who doesn’t just ideate, but executes and follows through
  • Experience developing and executing brand or content campaigns across channels
  • Ability to think channel-agnostic first, then adapt across platforms
  • Strong collaborator who can influence without direct authority
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Act as the creative partner across Marketing channels (email, social, digital, retail), helping shape and execute content strategy
  • Develop compelling, cohesive brand storytelling that can flex across channels
  • Generate bold, relevant ideas — and take ownership of bringing them to life end-to-end across channels
  • Stay on top of cultural trends and translate inspiration into actionable ideas
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to execute ideas
  • Guide and support a Social Content Producer (direct report) and partner with a copywriter to bring content to life
  • Ensure consistency and evolution of Salt & Straw’s brand voice across all touchpoints
  • Balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution
