About The Position

The Account Manager is a hands-on, field-forward role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves connecting with the community, and isn't afraid to take the lead. You'll build retail relationships and support our key accounts through in-store training, merchandising and representing our brands at events within your region. Account Managers are a key component in ensuring our brands are seen, heard & are resonating - all while staying compliant and creative. You'll be a key voice on the ground, trusted to bring ideas to the table and execute activations with pride.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of your regions culture, neighborhoods, and event scene
  • Experience in cannabis marketing, retail, or demo activations preferred
  • Familiarity with guerilla tactics, street art, or brand ambassadorship
  • Reliable, responsive, and highly organized while juggling multiple initiatives
  • Comfortable working independently in outdoor/urban settings (nights/weekends as needed)
  • Strong communicator
  • Open-minded and creatively driven. Contribute ideas, not just execute them

Responsibilities

  • Lead In-Store Training: Educate and train dispensary budtenders on our brands’ product portfolios, best practices in qualifying customers/sales techniques, and our key differentiators in the market. Build excitement across the budtender community, through your enthusiasm for both the culture and our brands.
  • Best in Class Merchandising: Secure, maintain and evolve our visual merchandising footprint within dispensary salesfloors. Utilize brand collateral assets to drive visibility for our brands, while keeping them updated with messaging that reflects and showcases our brands and products. Ensure that our in-store displays are always full, clean and visually engaging.
  • Retail Event Activations: Partner with sales and brand ambassadors to serve as the face of our brands at special events for key accounts. Engage with attendees to evangelize our products, conduct prize giveaways and drive sales during events - ensuring the vibe is always on-point and mission-aligned.
  • Retail Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong ties with local dispensaries. Set up and host trainings, ensure in-store displays are current and clean, and keep staff engaged with brand training and swag drops.
  • Take Initiative: Proactively reach out to new retail partners, scout high-visibility merchandising locations, and propose new ideas for community engagement and market visibility.
  • Field Reporting & Documentation: Submit weekly recaps with photo documentation of activations. Track execution and coordinate with marketing, with our in-house tools.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Report to the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager. Work independently 60-70% of the time, and collaborate with the broader marketing and brand teams as needed.
