About The Position

This role is designed for top sales professionals who have hit a ceiling in their current organizations and are looking for a step up into a leadership position without giving up the field. It's a player/coach role where 75% of the time is spent managing and growing a book of business, and 25% is dedicated to developing the sales and service team. The Branch Vice President will act as the architect of the branch, still closing deals while leading and growing the territory. The South Windsor, CT territory is described as a dense, high-value market with strong commercial and industrial activity, requiring a trailblazer to build a strategy and own the outcome. This is a ground-level leadership opportunity with national backing, providing tools, team, and support.

Requirements

  • Proven sales record with experience building books of business and closing deals.
  • Leadership instincts and the ability to naturally coach others.
  • Hunter mentality with experience in cold calling, prospecting, and territory development.
  • Grit and resilience, treating adversity as a competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and in-person).
  • Problem-solver's mindset with the ability to identify root causes and build practical solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform on-site leadership and maintain high visibility with clients and teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Dock or door industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Personally manage and grow an assigned book of business, remaining in the field and closing deals.
  • Build new client relationships with facility managers, GCs, builders, and commercial operators.
  • Develop competitive sales strategies using market data, prospect intelligence, and customer interaction history.
  • Act as the visible face of DuraServ in the South Windsor market.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a dedicated branch sales team, including recruiting and coaching.
  • Coach reps on the full sales cycle: cold calling, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Execute sales programs to maximize team potential and align with company growth objectives.
  • Own P&L accountability for the branch, including forecasting, budget management, and bottom-line performance.
  • Manage service team coordination alongside operations leadership in a dual reporting structure.
