About The Position

DuraServ is seeking player/coach Branch Vice Presidents who are proven sales leaders with a strong hunting mentality. This role is designed for top sales professionals who have hit a ceiling in their current organizations and are ready for a step up. As a Branch Vice President, you will be responsible for personally managing and growing a book of business (75% of the role), developing the sales and service team (20%), and providing operational oversight (5%). Each territory is a new opportunity to build and grow a branch, with the expectation that you will still be closing deals.

Requirements

  • Proven sales record with experience in building books of business, exceeding quotas, and closing deals.
  • Leadership instincts and the ability to naturally coach others.
  • Hunter mentality with experience in cold calling, prospecting, and territory development.
  • Grit and resilience, treating adversity as a competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions, boardroom presentations, and team engagement.
  • Problem-solver's mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions quickly.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Dock or door industry experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

  • Personally manage and grow an assigned book of business, including closing deals and hunting for new clients.
  • Develop new client relationships with facility managers, GCs, builders, and commercial operators.
  • Create competitive sales strategies using market data, prospect intelligence, and customer interaction history.
  • Act as the visible face of DuraServ in the market, managing the sales process from cold call to contract.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a dedicated branch sales team, including recruiting, coaching, and managing performance.
  • Coach sales representatives on the full sales cycle: cold calling, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Execute sales programs to maximize team potential and align with company growth objectives.
  • Own P&L accountability for the branch, including forecasting, budget management, and bottom-line performance.
  • Coordinate service team activity with operations leadership.
