Branch Team Lead
About The Position
This role is for a Branch Team Lead at HUB, a leading North American insurance brokerage. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys growing a business, and is passionate about developing others. As a Branch Team Lead, you will be responsible for motivating, coaching, and encouraging employees, focusing on bringing goals, purpose, and vision into focus through collaboration and relationship-building. You will create a positive work environment, coach team members to meet service and sales goals, support operational reporting, and manage team targets. You will also assist the branch manager, ensure daily service commitments are met, handle client and associate inquiries and escalations, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in process creation. Maintaining strong employee relationships to ensure quality service standards is also a key part of this role.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' insurance brokerage experience, including at least 1 year of leadership experience.
- Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent.
- Coaches, trains, and motivates team members to meet service and sales goals.
- Supports operational reporting and manages team targets and performance metrics.
- Responsible for assisting branch manager (or overseeing objectives in absence of management onsite) and ensuring that daily service commitments are met.
- Able to answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answers phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes.
- Maintains necessary relationship with employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
