About The Position

First Montana Bank is seeking an ambitious and energetic professional for a full-time, 40 hr/week Branch Supervisor position in Missoula, MT. This role involves accurately and courteously processing customer transactions, handling customer inquiries via phone and in person, and providing other customer services to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position also requires presenting and cross-selling the Bank’s financial products and services, adhering to the CARE program principles, and complying with all bank policies, procedures, guidelines, laws, and regulations. Additionally, the Branch Supervisor will assist the Branch Retail Manager and/or Market President in coordinating and supervising retail functions for operational effectiveness. The primary work location is the Missoula Higgins branch, with potential backup duties at the Missoula Brooks branch. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekend work for Missoula branches.

Requirements

High School Diploma or a General Education Degree required.
A minimum of two (2) years related experience required.
Ability to be bonded.
Ability to obtain Notary Public certification.
Regularly stand, grasp, reach, talk, and hear.
Occasionally sit, walk, lift/carry/push up to 25 pounds, and stoop/crouch.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two (2) years banking experience strongly preferred.
Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Accurate and courteous processing of customer paying and receiving transactions.
Answering the telephone and assisting customers with account inquiries.
Providing other customer services that contribute to favorable customer relations and efficient operations.
Presenting and cross-selling the Bank’s financial products and services.
Operating within the policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the Bank, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Assisting the Branch Retail Manager and/or Market President in coordinating and supervising the activities of the retail functions to maintain operational effectiveness.
Serving as a backup at the Missoula Brooks branch when necessary.
