About The Position

Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is seeking a Branch Service Specialist (Universal Banker) to perform a broad range of member sales and service functions along with teller transactions. The role focuses on listening to identify member needs, asking questions, and recommending products and services that help members achieve financial success and build loyal relationships. Member service duties include processing loan applications, opening memberships and IRAs, setting up automated services, and supporting the Call Center as needed. The specialist explains membership ownership options and eligibility requirements and ensures required paperwork, documentation, and signatures are accurate and complete.
