About The Position

Lafayette Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager for its Vienna, Virginia location. The Branch Manager manages a full-service branch office, ensures established policies and procedures are followed, delegates day-to-day operations to branch staff as appropriate, and coaches and develops employees. The role focuses on providing members with an excellent customer service experience while supporting branch business development and sales goals.

Applicants must reside in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to the Credit Union’s success, has progressive experience leading and managing a team in a full-service branch, and can resolve internal and external inquiries in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Three to five years of progressive experience leading and managing a team of people in a full-service branch.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve internal and external inquiries in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Applicants must reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and hire a motivated, professional team capable of providing efficient and effective branch services to Credit Union members.
• Develop a department culture in which employees seek opportunities to cross-sell products and services for the benefit of members.
• Provide members with professional support, accurate information, and friendly service.
• Conduct regular business development and generate new business to meet established sales goals.
• Manage a full-service branch office, ensure established policies and procedures are followed, and delegate day-to-day operations to branch staff as appropriate.
• Coach and develop branch staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external inquiries in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
