This full-time, in-office position within the Branch Management department is for a Retail Manager Trainee. Under the guidance of the Corporate Area Sales Manager and a Mentor, the trainee will be assigned a branch to ensure effective branch operations and processes, deliver superior customer service through the IBC Experience, and strategize to meet company growth and retention goals. The role also involves developing community relationships and completing duties in parallel with classroom training to enhance individual competencies.

Requirements

Retail Management experience required.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Some college, preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage branch staff and establish expectations for individual and staff performance.
Plan and execute sales activities to meet branch deposit growth.
Perform successfully to the Deposit Growth and Sales Performance Goals (TSA and Referral Programs).
Sustain customer relationships with face to face meetings, phone calls, lobby, and outreach activities.
Organize branch promotions internally and externally to promote bank products and services.
Establish community relationships.
Actively engage in various bank meetings.
Facilitate daily huddles and weekly sales meetings.
Participate in corporate and market initiatives as needed.
Develop employees and facilitate by coaching, instructing, and mentoring.
Ensure staff retention.
Shadow hiring process and employee terminations.
Timely management of all branch administration job functions.
Manage the maintenance of office equipment, supplies and branch image.
Provide approvals for Market retail customer portfolio adhering to Bank Policies.
Other duties as assigned.
