About The Position

Pima Federal Credit Union is looking to hire a full-time Branch Manager. This position is responsible for directing all branch functions including member service, sales, and business development. Our Branch Managers create an environment that encourages the use of electronic banking services, educates members, provides superior service and develops relationships to position the credit union for future growth opportunities. They always take the time to establish rapport with members and listen carefully so that the absolute best financial products and services can be recommended to meet our members' needs; and they are passionate about coaching our employees to do the same! This position will create branch specific strategies to expand the credit union business and achieve credit union goals. This will be accomplished by increasing the overall productivity of the branch, implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies, and capturing growth opportunities. This role also oversees the daily operation of branch staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, discipline, discharge, supervision and development. Branch Managers are expected support and/or perform branch operation functions to include but not limited to cash vault activity, monthly audits (cash drawers, cash recycler/dispenser, ATM, vault and instant issue cards), and dual control processes as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years previous management experience in a financial institution; OR Two years of the following: Teller/New Accounts experience, Loan Officer experience, and supervisory experience in a financial institution
  • Knowledge of general financial institution policies and procedures
  • Intermediate level proficiency with computers and software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Honest and trustworthy

  • College degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
