About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring experienced, people-focused leaders for a Branch Manager career within its National Branch Network. The Branch Manager serves as the branch sales leader, responsible for acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships to grow primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments. The role leads and develops a team, strengthens banker productivity, fosters an engaged and accountable customer-focused culture, and balances growth objectives with operational risk management. New leaders begin with the Branch Manager Readiness Program, which provides guidance, mentorship, job shadowing, and practical experience in daily branch operations. Successful completion is required before transition into a Branch Manager position; branch assignment depends on business need and availability. During training, the role is an interim, nonexempt position. Employees already serving as Wells Fargo Branch Managers do not need to complete the program. The position may be assigned to one of the listed locations in Sarasota, Englewood, Bradenton, or Venice, Florida. The schedule includes Saturdays, and travel within the assigned geography may reach 50% during the first six months and before or up until placement in a specific branch, depending on location. SAFE registration is required at employment, with Wells Fargo initiating the process after the start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
