This position is located at Saint-Hyacinthe. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the incumbent contributes to the company’s overall profitability by maintaining a high level of effectiveness and efficiency in managing branch and fleet resources at headquarters and in all relevant satellite branches.

Post-secondary education equivalent to one year of study in business administration or equivalent. Experience in a field related to the position is preferred or considered equivalent. All relevant experience will be taken into account.
More than five years of professional experience in a relevant field is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required

Practical knowledge of positioning equipment, welding techniques, and related equipment is an asset.
Training in equipment repair and maintenance is an asset.

Responsibilities

Ensures that the branch complies with security and safety audits requirements and provides a safe work environment by adhering to Airgas/Red-D-Arc health and safety guidelines.
Provides exemplary customer service at the branch.
Maintains a high turnover rate and high-quality standards for all rental equipment.
Ensures that parts/accessories and equipment inventory is organized and controlled.
Promotes sales of used equipment.
Conducts inventory audits at the main branch.
Take responsibility for recruiting and onboarding/training branch staff.
Supervise all fleet transfers into and out of the branch.
Approves all purchase orders and invoices for the branch to minimize expenses.
Ensures that the agency collects receivables in a timely manner, including proper cash flow management.
Conducts the annual performance evaluation process thoroughly and within the specified timeframes.
Provides guidance and documents any shortcomings identified in employees whose performance is inadequate.
Monitors exception reports to identify and resolve issues.
Participates in the annual budgeting process.
Complies with all SOX requirements.
Ensures that all government regulatory requirements are met.
Implements and communicates new policies and operational guidelines.
Communicates daily productions meetings with the branch and weekly sales operations meetings with the branch and outside sales team.
