Branch Intern - Multiple Locations
About The Position
SRS Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, currently operates under a family of distinct local brands encompassing more than 760 locations across 47 states. Northeast Branch Intern positions are available at our branch locations, all of which are office-based, in the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. This 12-week internship provides a 360-degree view of our distribution center’s operations, customer service, and sales functions. You’ll be trained by experienced branch managers and gain hands-on experience in receiving and moving products in the warehouse, loading trucks and handling dispatch & delivery logistics, customer service, order entry, and inside sales. You will also shadow a Territory Manager for outside sales experience and complete and present a high-impact business project at our corporate headquarters. You’ll also have biweekly coaching sessions to accelerate your learning and ensure you’re making the most of your experience.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business Management, Construction Management is preferred.
- Current Juniors with plans to graduate between December 2025 and May 2026
- Proven leadership, teamwork, and work ethic through previous jobs or extracurricular activities
- Personable, driven, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US
- Will pass criminal and driving background check with a pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Receiving and moving products in the warehouse
