About The Position

We are a dynamic company with growth opportunities in the credit union industry, seeking a Branch Financial Sales & Service Manager for our Evanston Branch. This role involves analyzing member financial needs, leading and motivating branch sales and service staff, and achieving assigned sales goals. The position has a heavy emphasis on new memberships and loans, including follow-up processes for new memberships, pending and completed lending applications, and cross-selling. The Branch Manager is also responsible for organizing and participating in community and Select Employee Group events to promote First Northern products and services and strengthen relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate branch sales and service staff with proven skills in leadership, sales, business development, and lending.
  • Achieve assigned sales goals for the branch and department.
  • Analyze members' financial needs.
  • Handle a variety of consumer/personal deposit and loan applications from various channels.
  • Manage steps from application start to finish.
  • Focus on new memberships and loans.
  • Manage new membership follow-up process (first 60 days).
  • Follow up on Pending Lending Application Report.
  • Follow up on Completed Lending Applications.
  • Follow up on Cross-sale Tickets.
  • Conduct outbound calling.
  • Drive household and product penetration by cross-selling additional business.
  • Organize and participate in community and Select Employee Group events.
  • Lead efforts in coordination with Business Development and Marketing Departments.
  • Promote First Northern products and services through external activities.
  • Work with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to strengthen relationships.
