The Hospice Branch Administrator is a health care/human services professional with the knowledge, experience and ability to effectively administer the Hospice Service and at least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in hospice or a related health program. Master level education is preferred. A registered nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license in the state of practice preferred. The Branch Administrator is available at all times during the operating hours of the agency and participates in all activities relevant to the provision of home health services. KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCY: Must demonstrate basic knowledge of all procedures included in the Administrator job description. Must have the ability to follow instruction from the Board of Directors. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, managers, patients and co-workers.
