About The Position

The Braider Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of braiding equipment to support production needs.

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical diagrams, manuals, or instructions
Ability to record and document data appropriately
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, oils, and lubricants
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards

Prior experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred

Perform preventative maintenance on braider machines, including oiling, greasing, and routine inspections
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure proper machine operation and minimize downtime
Repair and rebuild braider equipment including replacement of mechanical components
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all braider equipment
Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues before they impact production
Maintain inventory of necessary lubricants, parts, and supplies required for ongoing maintenance
Communicate effectively with supervisors and production personnel regarding equipment status and repair needs
Safely operate tools and equipment necessary to complete maintenance and repair tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
