About The Position

St. Mark is seeking a boys PE Coach to promote the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students in accordance with the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. The PE Coach provides a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program for elementary and middle school students, fostering lifelong habits of fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy living.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-based PE lessons for students in grades K-8th
• Teach fundamental motor skills, physical fitness, movement concepts, team sports, and individual recreational activities
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying abilities, learning styles, and physical needs
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of performance and participation
• Encourage personal goal setting, self-discipline, responsibility, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and confidence
• Model Christian behavior and demonstrate respect for the dignity of every student
• Participate in school liturgies and faith-based activities
• Collaborate with PE team, teachers, and staff to support student success
