About The Position

The part-time Boys Gymnastics Coach is responsible for coaching both the recreational and competitive boys’ gymnastic programs in a professional and energetic manner. This position will require some travel and a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends. The position will average 16-20 hours/week. The starting rate is $20/hour. The Nook provides the necessary USAG membership and trainings. Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment: PA State Police criminal history record, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to demonstrate gymnastic skills in curriculum to students
• Interactive and hands-on, comfortable instructing children of various ages
• Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
• Brings integrity to every interaction, takes initiative to jump in where needed, lifts up teammates to win together, and creates an environment where positivity and kindness shape every guest experience.

• Provide instruction to youth of varying ages maintaining attention of all team members
