About The Position
The SEED School of Washington, D.C. is seeking a Head Boys Flag Football Coach for its athletics department. This role involves leading Varsity athletes to improve individual skills and team performance through drills, conditioning, and game strategies. The coach will also supervise team games and coordinate travel logistics for away events. The SEED School is a college-preparatory urban boarding school that prepares secondary students for success in college and beyond. All students live on campus from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon, participating in a structured 24-hour boarding experience. The SEED Network operates tuition-free, public, college-preparatory boarding schools in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Miami, and Los Angeles, serving traditionally underserved students.
Requirements
- Previous experience playing football or a related team sport at the high school or college level
- Past coaching experience
- Thorough understanding of game rules and coaching techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organizational abilities
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Sports Management, Exercise Science, or a related field
