About The Position
The Boys Basketball Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the head coaching role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions in accordance with the direction of the program. The role includes organizing and supervising game help and assisting with supervision at activities. Regular attendance is required. The assignment may involve flexibility, handling conflict and stress, quickly processing information, making informed decisions, and long hours. Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification.
- CHSAA test and regulation.
- Concussion education and completion of concussion training.
- Prior coaching experience in basketball.
- Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
- Regular attendance.
