About The Position

The Box Truck Driver operates a box truck to transport manufactured goods on a planned route between Niles plant locations and Benton Harbor, Michigan. The role also includes loading and unloading trucks and performing material-handling duties when not driving. The driver is responsible for the truck’s safety, cleanliness, and upkeep, and for completing and promptly reporting required daily paperwork. The driver represents Modineer professionally on the road and when interacting with customers and vendors. No overnight travel is involved.

Requirements

• Hold a current Class E license.
• Pass a written and practical forklift test.
• Be able to complete required Modineer production system documentation, including production reports and inspection reports.
• Have good attendance, defined as fewer than five chargeable absences.
• Have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck on a planned route between Niles plant locations and Benton Harbor, Michigan, transporting manufactured goods.
• Load and unload trucks and perform material-handling duties when not driving.
