About The Position

This role involves assisting patrons and donation site attendants with donations at various Goodwill locations. The position requires driving company-owned vehicles up to 26,000 gvw, operating a forklift to load and unload materials, and receiving and staging donations. Responsibilities also include sorting donations at pick-up for safe transport and processing, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work site.

Requirements

• Can meet physical requirements to move 50 pound objects routinely.
• Have experience driving box trucks.
• Have a driving record indicating that you can safely drive fleet vehicles.
• Are comfortable working in a warehouse environment where you can anticipate getting dirty.
• Are available to work weekends and evenings.
• Work well on independent tasks.
• Have a proven record of being dependable.
• Are friendly.
• Are committed to working in a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons and donation site attendants of Goodwill with their donations at donation bins, trailers and stores as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to our donors.
• Drive, maneuver and park company owned vehicles up to 26,000 gvw.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials.
• Receive and stage donations received from the public, moving materials throughout the facility as needed using company equipment.
• Sort donations at pick-up to expedite safe transport and processing of merchandise for sale.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work site.
