About The Position

Delaware Valley Floral Group is hiring a part-time, as-needed Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver fresh floral products to customers along assigned routes. The role helps ensure on-time delivery, preserve product quality, and provide a positive customer experience. The driver operates a 16-foot refrigerated box truck, loads and unloads products, coordinates with warehouse team members, and follows company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations. The position is based at the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts distribution facility and involves local travel in assigned delivery areas, including Boston, routes north and south of I-495, routes north and south of Route 128, and/or Rhode Island. The schedule has variable hours based on business needs: a 2:00 AM Monday start and 3:30 AM Tuesday–Friday starts, with work continuing until route completion. Occasional Saturdays may be required. The work includes warehouse and refrigerated-cooler conditions of approximately 34°F, extended periods of driving, and lifting and moving products up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role pays $23.00 per hour and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits. A quarterly safety incentive bonus of up to $1,500 annually is offered based on eligibility.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional driving experience operating box trucks; experience with trucks 16 feet or larger is preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification; a CDL is not required.
Acceptable driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to use maps, GPS, and navigation tools for route management.
Strong time-management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills.
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach.
Ability to safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck.

Responsibilities
