About The Position

VP Supply Corp. is hiring a dependable, experienced driver for its Central Distribution Center in Shortsville, New York. The role transports products between the distribution center and branch locations throughout New York, with deliveries completed safely, accurately, and on time. This hands-on position offers a consistent daytime schedule and steady work. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $24.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience. No CDL is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Previous professional driving experience is required.
• Understand safe driving practices and proper handling of materials.
• Be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Be comfortable managing a route independently and solving problems on the road.
• Be willing to help load, unload, and move products as needed.
• Communicate well and work effectively with others.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials.
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck, lift and move products, and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating 26-foot box trucks or larger commercial vehicles is strongly preferred.
• Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates is preferred.
• Familiarity with Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, and surrounding areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to transport products between locations.
• Complete scheduled delivery routes safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and secure products for transportation.
• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates to move materials.
• Verify deliveries and complete required paperwork and vehicle logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse team members throughout the day.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and safe.
