About The Position

Carolina Precision Fibers is seeking a reliable, experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver to transport goods and products to designated locations. The role includes planning efficient routes, loading and unloading merchandise, verifying delivery orders, maintaining vehicle safety, and keeping accurate delivery records. The driver communicates with dispatch and customers, handles customer inquiries professionally, and follows company delivery schedules and procedures.

The position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), prior box truck or delivery driving experience, and a commitment to safe driving. It also involves physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods and remaining seated for extended periods. Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a box truck or delivery driver.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to transport goods and products to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Load and unload merchandise using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Verify delivery orders with customers for accuracy.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers about delivery status.
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules and protocols.
