About The Position

Primarily responsible for assembling boxes by hand and/or box machine; unloading unmade boxes from truck using forklift; and delivering to box room. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Relative poultry industry experience
Basic math functions and skills

Responsibilities

Assembling boxes by hand and/or box machine
Unloading unmade boxes from truck using forklift
Delivering to box room
Using and maintaining personal protective equipment
Working in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations
Moving unmade box material from truck using hydraulic hand trucks (weight approximately 400 pounds)
Carrying stacks of box material (5-7 boxes weighing 5-15 lbs)
Lifting unmade box material and placing into bracket of box machine
Retrieving glue from supply room using dolly
Performing lockout/tagout when performing light maintenance, cleanup and removing crushed boxes
Putting trash and crushed boxes in trash vat
Carrying boxes to wing belt, and placing lids on lid track
Taking breaks 5 minutes early, and returning 5 minutes early to wipe condensation on line
Cleaning up and covering boxes in the box room at the end of the shift
Performing other duties as assigned
