The Box Office Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and managing daily and nightly box office operations, including Will Call, Guest List, Ticket Sales, and Ticket Scanning. This role involves assisting and supporting box office staff, ensuring a positive team environment, facilitating communication with the Box Office Manager and other venue departments, and providing ongoing staff training. The supervisor will also assist with staff evaluations, recruitment, hiring, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels. A key aspect of the role is promoting and providing superior customer service in all guest interactions and participating in on-site venue meetings. Additionally, the supervisor will ensure adherence to cash handling policies, assist with the reconciliation and accounting of ticket sales, manage pricing initiatives, and conduct band settlements. The role also involves creating, modifying, and maintaining ticket inventory in a secure environment, monitoring ticketing hardware and software, and acting as a secondary representative in interactions with Ticketmaster. The supervisor will manage customer database files, maintain the call center phone system, interact with artists and management, and collaborate with Premium Seat Sales/VIP and Operations/Guest Services teams. The position may require offsite venue coverage, including night of show management and staffing.
