About The Position

To consistently provide a safe environment for all patrons while maintaining a family atmosphere. Provide all patrons with great customer service. Be able to provide first aid and document incidents when necessary. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from October through May. Limited hours will be available during summer months (June -September).

Requirements

Entry Level
Ability to demonstrate physical fitness to include frequent light to occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.) standing, and walking for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Ability to verbally communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to read, understand, and respond to various department-level forms.
Ability to see clearly enough to monitor work environment and identify relevant information or materials.
Knowledge of facility operations.
Ability to assist with general duties for other staff in the event of their absence.
Ability to demonstrate tact and patience while dealing with customers.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work habits to meet ever-changing schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

Follow the OAC Employee Manual and perform all duties and functions of an OAC employee.
Protect the safety and health of all patrons using proper skills.
Provide excellent customer service through consistent, fair, and courteous enforcement of all rules.
Ability to use Civic Rec software to check in patrons.
Comfortability with conflict management when necessary.
Be able to perform basic first aid when necessary.
Fill out incident reports when necessary.
Ability to work at least 3 weekends a month.
Other duties as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility by performing basic cleaning duties as needed throughout daily operations.
