Located at Newport on the Levee, Velocity Esports is a cutting-edge esports and entertainment platform with a focus on bringing you next level entertainment experiences. We offer premier esports lounges, arcade games, bowling, billiards & darts, live tournaments and other in person entertainment features. Whether competing in a tournament or enjoying elevated casual dining, craft beverages and arcade games in person at one of our venues, our commitment is to deliver "Next Level Gaming, Next Level Fun" to our guests. Bowling (Control Desk) Attendants ensure that guests have an enjoyable bowling experience during their visit to Velocity by being hospitable while upholding the company's guest service standards.
Requirements
- Have availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as the business demands.
- Work in noisy environment with distracting conditions.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Walk throughout the venue throughout duration of scheduled shift.
- Read and write handwritten notes.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to provide authorization to work in the US - we use E-verify.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track the availability of lanes
- Greet and proactively communicate lane status and wait times to all guests
- Ensure that all guests are equipped with the correct footwear and any lane specifications requested
- Assist management with seamless execution of all large and small private parties
- Communicate any guest requests to the appropriate staff or management
