Bottle Prep Technician- Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast, Horsham, PA
About The Position
Eurofins Environment Testing is looking for a Sample Bottle Prep Technician in our Horsham, PA laboratory. This position is responsible for packing bottle orders according to client specifications; stocking and inventorying supplies; printing bottle orders, shipping bottle orders on the FedEx system, and packing coolers for transport. Demonstrates and promotes the company vision. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. The role involves accurately packing bottle orders following guidelines from client and company SOPs, and adhering to procedures for packing bottles, preparing orders, and interpreting bottle order requests. Responsibilities include restocking shelves with the proper bottle types, keeping the work area clean and free of clutter, and preparing samples in coolers with bubble wrap for shipping. The technician will ship bottle orders on the FedEx system and may need to perform courier duties, including picking up samples from client sites using company vehicles. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Able to stand, bend, twist throughout the day
- Must be able to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions
- Must be able to operate a computer and printer
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and relate well to people in direct communication
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Must have a valid US driver’s license without recent incident
- Will drive company provided vehicle as needed
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
