About The Position

The Boring Mill Operator is responsible for operating a Boring Mill (Manual or CNC). Must have a strong understanding of machining practices, precision measurements, and ability to read mechanical drawings.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of CNC or Manual Boring Mill or related machining experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Heavy equipment manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC boring mills.
• Machine large and heavy components to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining instructions.
• Perform accurate measurements using precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues as needed.
• Coordinate with programmers to improve efficiency.
