About The Position

This is a student employment position for Boomer the Bobcat Mascot within the Marketing and Communications department. The role involves representing Quinnipiac at various events, including Admissions events like Open Houses and Admitted Student Experience, university-wide events, and select department events. The mascot will also participate in photos and social media content creation.

Requirements

• Excellent time-management skills
• Enthusiastic about representing Quinnipiac
• Ability to shoot photos/videos
• Height requirement 5’6” or taller to ensure best fit in the Boomer costume
• For health and safety, candidate must be physically active or have cardio endurance to wear a fur costume
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in Admissions events including Open Houses, Admitted Student Experience
• Attend and participate in university-wide events as Boomer
• Attend and participate in select department events as Boomer
• Participate in photos with prospective students and parents
• Participate in social media video and photo shoots as Boomer, as needed
